At Atrium Health, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization, we are excited to invite Pediatric Physicians to explore the possibilities of joining our dynamic Virtual Services Group. This initiative is dedicated to delivering exceptional pediatric care through innovative virtual solutions.

We are in search of six board-certified or board-eligible Pediatricians with a minimum of three years of clinical experience to help us establish our new virtual services division. This includes programs focused on Virtual Primary Care and Urgent Care Virtual Visits. Our virtual pediatricians will serve diverse communities across various regions.

Position Highlights:

  • Virtual Services Group (VSG): This new practice is designed to provide traditional Pediatric Primary Care in a modern and innovative format, building on our successful virtual urgent care and school-based initiatives.
  • Enterprise Virtual Primary Care (VPC): We believe in the potential of virtual primary care, enabling pediatricians to deliver a wide range of services through advanced technology. This includes virtual well-child visits, nutritional counseling, and chronic disease management, all tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.
  • Enterprise Virtual Urgent Care Visits: Our virtualist team will conduct urgent care video consultations, addressing common pediatric conditions such as respiratory infections and allergies.
  • Work is structured around shifts, with each clinician expected to work 32 hours per week on a rotating schedule.
  • Weekend shifts will be required approximately once every three weeks.
  • All shifts are during the day, with no overnight responsibilities.
