Are you a dedicated General Pediatrician seeking a flexible work environment that promotes work-life balance? Atrium Health invites you to explore a transformative approach to Primary Care through our Virtual Services Group.
We are looking for six board-certified or board-eligible Pediatricians with a minimum of three years of clinical experience to assist in launching our new virtual services, which include:
- Virtual Primary Care: We believe in the potential of virtual healthcare to deliver comprehensive pediatric services. Our model integrates technology to enhance patient care, allowing for virtual well-child visits with support staff present to facilitate physical examinations. This approach enables us to offer personalized services such as nutrition counseling, chronic disease management, and behavioral health consultations, in addition to traditional acute care.
- Virtual Urgent Care: Our virtualist team will conduct urgent care video consultations, addressing common pediatric conditions such as respiratory infections, skin rashes, and allergies.
- Our employment structure is shift-based, with each clinician expected to work 32 hours per week on a rotating schedule, including some weekend shifts (approximately one weekend every three weeks).
- All shifts are scheduled during the day, ensuring no overnight commitments.
