BACE, LLC, a world leader in the waste equipment industry, is seeking an experienced Materials Flow Manager to oversee the smooth flow of materials and supplies through our facility. This role will provide direction and leadership to support production and supply chain management by analyzing data to make informed recommendations to management.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor potential shortages: Identify and mitigate potential material shortages to minimize downtime.
  • Inventory Control: Coordinate daily cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and root cause analysis to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Material Flow Issues: Investigate and resolve material storage issues, inventory accuracy, and material flow movement problems.
  • Daily/Weekly Meetings: Attend meetings to communicate information necessary to optimize product flow.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with managers and departments to develop and modify inventory control processes and procedures.
  • MRP/ERP System: Utilize MRP/ERP system to monitor and update inventory levels.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve material handling processes, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency.

This position requires a minimum of five years of experience in inventory control or material handling in a production or industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in a sheet metal, welding, or fabrication environment. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, such as NetSuite, is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when necessary.

The salary for this position is approximately $$85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
