We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. You will assess patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
- Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
- Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and provide information about community support groups and other available programs.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Respiratory Care Practitioner, and Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
