Position Overview: Are you passionate about the art of coffee making and the delightful world of vegan donuts? This role combines your love for crafting beverages with providing an exceptional customer experience in a vibrant environment.

Location: Elephant and Co.

Work Schedule: Part-time, 7-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week.

Compensation: This is a tipped position ($3.93 + pooled tips), ensuring that all team members earn at least the equivalent of $16+/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a warm and engaging customer experience by understanding their beverage preferences.
  • Prepare a variety of espresso, latte, tea, and drip coffee drinks.
  • Inform customers about our coffee offerings and their unique qualities.
  • Interact with guests by showcasing our selection of 100% vegan donut flavors.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.
  • Handle point of sale transactions and other operational tasks.
  • Complete opening and closing duties with a focus on cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for coffee and creating memorable experiences for customers.
  • Previous barista experience is required.
  • Availability for part-time work (3-4 shifts per week) and weekends.
  • Morning availability starting at 8 am is necessary.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
