This position will provide friendly, courteous beverage service and beverage preparation in accordance with standard procedures.

Essential Functions

- Prepare beverages in accordance with established procedures

- Follow proper cash control procedures

- Practice proper par stock ordering procedures

- Maintain current knowledge of all policies and procedures concerning service of all alcoholic beverages

- Responsible for set-up and cleaning of bar area

- Monitor and assist in training Barbacks

- Maintain knowledge of current hotel activities, beverage outlets and operations

- Comply with all health and safety standards

- Attend meetings as scheduled

- Other job-related duties as assigned

- Must have knowledge of relevant of bartending procedures (drink recipes, etc.)

- Great good people skills required including effective communication

- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff

- Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English

- Ability to perform basic math & handle money and make correct change

- Ability to understand and comply with all departmental and Company rules, regulations, policies and procedures

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and management
