HRIS Analyst Position

Job Summary:
The HRIS Analyst position at Mi-Jack Products is responsible for supporting all aspects of the HRIS and interfaces, reporting, and assisting the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives related to the use of HRIS applications, systems, and tools.
This role will work closely with HR, Payroll, and Benefit teams to continually enhance and support HRIS systems and processes. A general working knowledge of all HR disciplines (Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and HR Self-Service) is critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the integrity of the HRIS database at the company and employee levels.
- Perform analyses and tests within the system to ensure reliable and consistent report output.
- Assist with the administration of company compensation programs.
- Input complex data for all employee personnel and company records into the various HRIS modules.
- Calculate retro payments, if needed.
- Ensure automated integration between intra and inter departmental information for employees.
- Build platform configured fields and other bespoke system setups for the various HR initiatives.
- Produce and submit pay surveys, compliance reporting, and other similar functions to the proper agencies.
- Manage the HRIS home page and employee and manager pages with targeted, relevant, and timely information.
- Run a variety of reports and queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
- Maintain data integrity in systems to ensure accurate reporting outputs to internal and external company departments.
- Monitor automated reports and adjust queries when requested.
- Ensure all federal and state filings are completed.
- Leverage the data and HRIS as primary tools for HR dashboard, reporting, and analytics.
- Compile the reporting for the annual increases, merit increases, and bonus program payments.
- Administer the retention bonus program and procedures.
- Assist with job evaluations to effectively maintain the company's compensation programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of HRIS experience in an HR database system or related database.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with solid customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to think logically and critically to create innovative solutions to complicated problems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel (Intermediate).
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Excellent technical aptitude and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Experience with Power BI, UKG Pro, IBM Cognos Analytics preferred but not required.
Physical and Environmental Elements:
This is primarily a sedentary office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances.
The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes, and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries reports and records that typically weigh less than 30 pounds.
