Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive care in a fast-paced environment
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
  • Document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Interpret lab and imaging data to develop evidence-based plans of care
  • Prescribe therapeutics and medications as needed
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide quality patient care
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in a relevant field
  • Active certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Physician Assistant (PA), or MD/DO
  • Active and unrestricted NP, PA, MD, or DO license in California
  • Active basic life support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in emergency room, urgent care, or similar setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish, Dari, Pashto) preferred
  • 2 years' experience in emergency rooms, urgent care, or similar setting
