About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Roadway Staff Design Civil Engineer to join our Transportation Team at The Kleingers Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to project teams and contributing to the planning, evaluation, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership to project teams and contribute to the planning, evaluation, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects.
  • Lead the study-phase and/or design-phase of projects related to the civil, environmental, construction, and industrial fields.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure projects progress properly.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure design specifications and standards are met.
  • Participate in appropriate meetings, association memberships, and events to establish, develop, and grow networking contacts.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Degree (or related)
  • Minimum 2 consecutive years of roadway experience
  • Public speaking ability, desired
  • Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; MicroStation is a plus
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be both creative and analytical
  • Extremely detail-oriented and accurate
