Position Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) plays a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive array of speech-language pathology services. This includes conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions within a collaborative interdisciplinary framework, adhering to professional standards and ethical guidelines.


Licensure and Credentials:
Applicants must possess and maintain a valid state SLP license. A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred, alongside current CPR certification.

Educational Background:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required.

Experience Requirements:
0-1 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Core Duties:
1. Assess patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through various clinical evaluations and standardized assessments.
2. Create and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment results, establishing measurable objectives tailored to each patient's needs.

3. Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' communication abilities, including articulation, language understanding, voice control, fluency, and swallowing skills.

4. Educate patients and their families regarding the nature of disorders, therapeutic techniques, and strategies to facilitate progress and improve communication and swallowing in everyday situations.

5. Maintain thorough and current documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
7. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
