We are seeking a skilled Marine Blaster to join our team at Tidewater Staffing, Inc.

Job Summary

The Marine Blaster will be responsible for preparing steel surfaces for painting using sandblasting equipment. This involves removing paint, rust, and mill scale from metal surfaces.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in the Marine Blasting field and possess a working knowledge of techniques for preparing steel surfaces for painting, such as SSPC SP-10, SSPC SP-6, and SSPC SP-7.

The successful candidate must be able to follow directions, understand safety requirements, and work well in a fast-paced environment. Physical demands include carrying loads of up to 50 lbs, climbing stairways and ladders, crawling in tanks and voids, and kneeling, standing, crouching, and stooping for long periods.
