Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support in-service bridge inspections, load rating analyses, and various structural evaluations across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

The ideal candidate will be excited to develop and apply their knowledge base, learn how to inspect and document in-service bridge conditions, and partner with a top-caliber team – all while maintaining their ideal work/life balance.

This position will offer opportunities to expand your career in a multitude of directions, develop discipline-specific project attributes, and be mentored by senior staff.

Candidates should be looking to develop experience in structural/bridge inspection and have a willingness to learn and work as a member of a growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
  • Support engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
  • Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
  • Perform structural analysis and design, load ratings, design/repair plan and specification development, and cost/quantity estimates.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external colleagues at all levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Exhibits an understanding of engineering principles relevant to the discipline.
  • A willingness to learn and work as a member of a growing team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Knowledgeable in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
  • Individual willing to work in variable field conditions as well as comfortable working at heights.
