Job Summary

Century Communities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of construction projects while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of contractor's paperwork, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and ordering of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with construction managers and trades to resolve issues and ensure project progress.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including schedules, budgets, and quality control metrics.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners, responding to concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or a related field, with a focus on project coordination and site management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
