Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and client-focused professional to provide support for our esteemed US Marine Corps client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and resolving incidents and issues within the Remedy System as required.
  • Analyzing logs and system performance in accordance with established protocols; documenting irregularities through the incident management framework.
  • Executing patching and deployment tasks.
  • Ensuring the correct and effective utilization of the system and data through configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and report generation.
  • Assisting in the deployment of system enhancements aimed at boosting system reliability and performance.
  • Handling standard requests such as report generation, foundational data updates, and system oversight.
  • Engaging in BMC AR System and BMC ITSM Development utilizing Developer Studio.
  • Experience with Smart Reporting or Helix Dashboards, including the creation of reports and dashboards using data from the ITSM system and other sources.
  • Managing BMC ITSM Suite installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Navigating Windows Server OS.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of direct experience in Remedy development and administration.
  • Proficiency in utilizing BMC Remedy logs and development studio to troubleshoot intricate workflow challenges.
  • Capability to collaborate with BMC for resolving complex workflow issues.
  • Experience in coordinating large-scale Remedy migration, upgrade, and development initiatives.
  • Adept at reviewing complex customer functional requirements and determining deployment strategies in Remedy.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
  • Possession of Security + CE certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Redhat OS navigation.
  • Experience with BMC DWP and DWP Catalog (Linux) installation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of BMC Remedy Single Sign On (RSSO) installation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Smart Reporting installation and troubleshooting.
  • BMC Professional Certification in AR System, DWP, Helix ITSM, or Innovation Studio.

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Clearance Requirement: Current DOD Secret Clearance is necessary.
