System Administrator Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join a long-term DoD program supporting the USMC located in Quantico, VA. The System Administrator will assist with end-user desktop support across numerous Marine Corps installations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Windows Enterprise Environments with various administrative functions including configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation.
  • Work directly with Marines, Government Civilians, and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain data security, monitor system performance, and maintain backup systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
  • 7+ Years of IT experience and experience with Windows System Administration.
  • Active IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher (CCNA highly desired).
  • Must be able to obtain Microsoft Cert within 60 days.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $90,000-110,000 **depending on experience**.
