Key Responsibilities
  • Verify medical necessity and communicate relevant coverage/eligibility information to patients
  • Minimize duplication of medical records by using problem-solving skills to verify patient identity
  • Register patients for all services and achieve department-specific accuracy goals
  • Create accurate estimates to maximize up-front cash collections
  • Calculate patients\u2019 co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance
