Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and administrative leadership, promoting staff engagement and professional practice
  • Evaluate the quality and appropriateness of patient care, participating in quality improvement projects and initiatives
  • Recruit, interview, select, and retain patient care staff, assigning them to provide high-quality patient care
  • Promote patient satisfaction through regular rounds and implementation of service recovery techniques
  • Promote staff satisfaction through a participative practice environment, encouraging decision making and autonomy
