As an Electrical Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to provide precise cost estimates for commercial electrical projects while managing them effectively from start to finish.
This position requires full accountability for projects, focusing on refining cost-estimation techniques to reduce discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to ascertain project specifications, including pricing, invoicing, and management tasks.
- Analyze schematics to determine optimal wiring lengths and outlet placements in compliance with electrical regulations.
- Investigate market prices to accurately estimate material and fixture costs for electrical undertakings.
- Review quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure precision in project cost assessments.
- Evaluate labor needs for each project to ascertain feasibility.
- Assess potential profitability of electrical projects to guide bidding strategies.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids adhering to established protocols.
- Oversee awarded projects and provide project management support when not engaged in estimating duties.
Types of Projects You Will Handle:
- Interior and exterior lighting repairs and enhancements
- Parking lot lighting installations
- Metering replacements and upgrades
- Panel replacements and enhancements
- EV charger installations
- Power additions and upgrades
- Aluminum wiring remediation
- Equipment wiring
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of field experience preferred.
- Ideally, 3 years of estimating experience.
- Proficient in interpreting schematics accurately.
- Proven ability to efficiently price jobs.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient with technology.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with Service Titan is a definite advantage.
