Residential Aide: New Life Center

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Aide to join our team at the New Life Center. As a Residential Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and recovery of our residents, who are women with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders, along with their infants and toddlers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents, adhering to CHR, DMHAS, JCAHO, and other licensing standards.
- Monitor and manage medications for all residents, following the Adult Residential Medication Policy and Procedure.
- Effectively communicate with staff and residents to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Teach and assist residents in essential life skills, including nutrition, hygiene, meal preparation, and basic home care.
- Assist with administrative tasks and functions as directed by the supervisor.
- Prepare and facilitate educational groups and one-on-one interventions, aligned with treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision, training, and other meetings as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in Human Services with a responsible work history.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
