Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Traveling Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diesel engines, generators, and compressors, as well as strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills.

The Traveling Mechanic will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, conducting diagnostic tests, designing and implementing maintenance plans, and maintaining detailed work logs and records of repairs and maintenance.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing inventory and ordering new parts as needed, performing equipment and machinery assessments to proactively identify potential issues, and adhering to safety policies, standards, and procedures.

Aerotek offers a competitive hourly wage, per diem, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues
  • Design and implement maintenance plans for upgrades and replacements
  • Maintain detailed work logs and records of repairs and maintenance
  • Manage inventory and order new parts as needed
  • Perform equipment and machinery assessments to proactively identify potential issues

Work Environment
