Clean Harbors in Henderson, CO is looking for a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to join their safety conscious team This position will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairing of all company fleet at branch locations throughout the area.

We do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ancestry, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, religion, age, physical or mental disability, veteran status, or on the basis of any other federal, state/provincial or local protected class.Clean Harbors is a Military & Veteran friendly company.“2022 Top Company for Women to Work for in Transportation”Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.- Inspect and test diesel engines to identify any potential problems or areas of improvement.- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as brakes, shocks, struts, and suspension systems.- Conduct preventative maintenance on diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to assist with repairs.- Operate and maintain equipment used in diesel engine repair, such as lifts and diagnostic tools.Requirements:- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components.- Familiarity with tractor-trailers, industrial equipment, and other diesel-powered machinery.- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find effective solutions.- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy equipment or parts.- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
