About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Reston Hospital Center. As a NICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to newborns in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Monitor and manage the patient's condition, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit operations.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Virginia.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • At least 1 year of NICU experience.
