As a Registered Nurse in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for patients within the scope of practice as defined by the Virginia Board of Nursing, in collaboration with the physician and other members of the healthcare team.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in neonatal care.
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment start date
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a NICU setting
