Role Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care while advocating for patients to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
- Execute procedures and functions as directed by medical providers.
- Accurately document care provided in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Must be a Registered Nurse.
- An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
No travel is required for this position, and prior experience is not mandatory.
