Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Youth Program Specialist II. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and assisting with the coordination of daily operations and activities assigned to various recreation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assist with the coordination of daily operations and activities assigned to various recreation programs.
  • Assist participants during program activities, set up and take down equipment, and supervise and coach participants as directed.
  • Provide a variety of clerical and office support duties, including ordering materials and supplies, collecting information and compiling data for reports, and creating and reviewing incident reports.
Requirements
  • Equivalent to a high school diploma and two years of experience in community service or recreation programs.
  • Experience working with youth may be preferred.
  • Bilingual skills in English/Spanish may be desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • First Aid and CPR certifications within six months of hire.
