Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Educator to join our team at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts. As a key member of our nursing education department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting best practices in patient care.

About the Role
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for nursing staff on various topics, including patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and staff to assess education needs and develop targeted training programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of education completion and employee competencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in nursing or related field.
  • At least five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two years in a leadership or education role.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
