Job Title: MRI Tech II- University of Oklahoma Medical Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Tech II to join our team at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center. As an MRI Tech II, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on patients, operating MRI equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, including positioning, scanning, and image acquisition
  • Operate MRI equipment, including scanners, consoles, and other related devices
  • Maintain a safe and efficient imaging environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and maintaining patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure high-quality imaging results
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, such as radiologic technology or a related field
  • Current certification as an MRI technologist, such as ARRT (R) (M) or ARDMS (R) (MR)
  • At least one year of experience as an MRI technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
