Position Overview:

The Banquet Server is accountable for the preparation and delivery of food and beverages to guests during various banquet events, adhering to the high standards set by Station Casinos.

Serve guests in a prompt and courteous manner, welcoming them with a friendly demeanor and proactively addressing their needs throughout the occasion.

Carry out assigned tasks and responsibilities to guarantee that guests receive timely and efficient service.

Familiarity with the Banquet Event Order (BEO) is essential, along with knowledge of the menu for the specific event, enabling accurate information to be provided to guests upon request.

Address guest inquiries, concerns, and incidents, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Prepare the venue in accordance with the BEO and the various meal functions, arrange tables to meet hotel standards, and ensure the banquet area is cleaned after the event concludes.

Maintain proper storage and organization of all equipment and supplies, ensuring the banquet storeroom is tidy and stocked with necessary items for food service operations.

The role also involves undertaking additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Requirements:

Candidates must be at least 21 years old. Previous experience is essential. Strong communication skills are required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of standing for the duration of the banquet event. Demonstrate a sense of urgency and adaptability to changing business needs. Respond effectively to visual and auditory signals. Maintain a professional appearance. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Must be able to lift full trays above shoulder height. Responsibilities include handling trays of dishes, clearing tables, and seating guests as needed. Must be able to acquire necessary work permits.
