Midas Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled Director of Development to oversee and lead the coordination of real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality development and a strong understanding of plans and specifications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee the engagement and ongoing coordination of third-party consultants.
  • Develop and manage approved project budgets and schedules.
  • Assist with the development of financial projections for individual projects.
  • Coordinate and manage the predevelopment process, including conceptual design, construction pricing, and entitlements.
  • Assist with the process of securing and coordinating hospitality brand franchises.
  • Assist and support efforts to secure project financing, including various financial incentives.
  • Coordinate and manage the construction process of assigned projects.
  • Track status of each project against budgets, timelines, and goals and provide reports on the status of each project.
  • Track vendor contracts and change requests.
  • Oversee the construction contractor's field operations, including managing and coordinating owner inspections and punch lists.
  • Conduct inspections and monitor building construction progress to ensure the work complies with contracts.
  • Lead the project from an ownership perspective to ensure timely completion of all projects.
