Medical Records and Health Information Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Records and Health Information Specialist to join our team at Strategic Resources, Inc. This role involves entering data into designated systems, reviewing medical records and x-rays, and preparing these records for archiving. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data entry, medical terminology, and Microsoft applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter data into designated FOH MIS systems
- Review medical records and x-rays and prepare them for archiving
- Process requests for medical records and x-rays from OHCs, agencies, or employees
- Communicate with OHCs and others regarding medical records, archiving, retrieval, and storage issues
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required with two years of data entry experience
- Fast and accurate data entry skills and familiarity with medical, science, and technology terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and basic computer and website use
Security Clearance: An active Secret Clearance is required.
