About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI scans and exams using advanced equipment and technology
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine
  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
