Hospice Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families in their homes or in our care centers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with mobility and ambulation, including the safe use of walkers or wheelchairs.
- Prepare and serve light meals and snacks, and assist with feeding patients as needed.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including light housekeeping tasks such as emptying trash and changing linens.
- Document patient care and progress, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
- CPR certification.
