OPTiM is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Statesboro and Vidalia, GA. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiologic procedures, protecting patients and staff from radiation hazards, and taking X-rays using established procedures for patient care and safety. Your expertise will include setting up and operating radiographic equipment, implementing infection control procedures, and selecting proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis. You will also be responsible for adjusting and setting radiographic controls, positioning patients, and taking X-rays of specific body parts as requested by physicians. Additionally, you will process film, check X-rays for clarity, and distribute them to medical staff. Your duties will also include maintaining required records, performing quality control checks, and complying with safety standards. If you have a current license with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.
