About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounting team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations, contributing to the seamless operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Month-End Close Activities: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure timely completion of financial statements.
  • Assist with Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate revenue recognition for SaaS transactions in accordance with US GAAP guidelines.
  • Cash Management: Reconcile cash accounts, manage receipts and disbursements, and record routine entries such as accruals and prepaid expenses.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Manage intercompany transactions and account reconciliations to ensure proper elimination of entries for consolidated reporting.
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare documentation for reconciliations and other accounting processes, ensuring SOX compliance where applicable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or candidacy preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong foundation in general accounting principles and processes.
  • ERP Software: Proficiency in ERP accounting software (NetSuite experience a plus).
  • US GAAP: Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly revenue recognition principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
