Behavioral Health Professional Opportunity

VitalCore Health Strategies, a leading provider of correctional health care, is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at the Warren County Jail in Lebanon, Ohio.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Professional will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health services to inmates. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform risk assessments and develop treatment plans for inmates
  • Coordinate care with medical staff, community providers, and psychiatric hospitals
  • Provide mental health treatment and support to inmates
  • Assist in planning and implementing programs and projects
  • Prepare documentation, records, and reports as needed

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling)
  • Minimum one year of experience in a social work capacity in a public or private agency
  • Valid licensure (e.g., LSW, LPC, or equivalent)
  • Ability to pass a background investigation
