Cameron County is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide critical support to our department, ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our department, including receiving and processing documents, mail, and materials.
  • Data Entry: Enter data into automated systems, verify data, and process transactions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, both manual and automated.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between supervisors, vendors, and other departments, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects and research as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Three years of experience performing clerical and/or administrative support work.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
