Job Summary

Medasource is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to lead our Hematology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the staff and daily activities of our laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to staff to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Staff Management: Promote department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.
  • Performance Management: Supervise, hire, train, discipline, and evaluate the performance of staff.
  • Quality Control: Maintain quality control activities and records, and ensure maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  • Compliance: Implement System/Department policies and government regulations, and monitor compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • License: Current License to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
  • Experience: 4 years of technical experience required, and 0-2 years of leadership/management experience preferred.
