Job Summary

As a Radiology Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the daily operations of the Angiography department. This role requires strong supervisory and leadership skills to mentor other technologists, as well as knowledge of proper use and maintenance of Angio equipment. You will also be responsible for managing patients during complex Angio procedures, exams, and biopsies. Additionally, you will need to follow oral and written instructions, communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees, and demonstrate ethical and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of technologists to ensure efficient and effective department operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of Angio equipment and procedures, including those that require contrast agents.
  • Manage patients during complex Angio procedures, exams, and biopsies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees to ensure seamless operations.
  • Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct in all interactions.


Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and certified by the State of Texas MRT.
  • American Heart Association BLS card.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a related field.
