Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our test equipment and systems. This includes troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic and mechanical systems, as well as providing technical support to our production team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, and test boxes to calibrate systems and ensure outputs are at predetermined levels.
  • Troubleshoot and repair peripheral equipment such as sort testers, probers, and ovens.
  • Work with cognizant engineers to define areas of system malfunctions.
  • Deal with manufacturing representatives to diagnose specific system problems and requisition parts.
  • Train and assist lower-level technicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment.
  • Adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
  • May perform equipment modifications as directed by test/manufacturing engineers.
  • Must be able to work night shift.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in electronics technology or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • A minimum of two years of directly related experience and an extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and repairs of several different test systems.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
