External Relations Liaison for Student Affairs

The External Relations Liaison serves as a key liaison between Student Affairs and external units, fostering strong relationships and promoting the student experience. This role requires a strong understanding of Student Affairs and the ability to effectively communicate with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between Student Affairs and external units, facilitating communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the student experience and enhance external relationships.
- Collaborate with Student Affairs staff to build strong relationships with external constituents.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Student Affairs and its initiatives.
- Effectively communicate with external stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and community partners.
- Develop and implement programs to promote student engagement and external relations.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, public relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a related field, preferably in Student Affairs or external relations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of Student Affairs and its initiatives.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in education, public relations, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in a related field, preferably in Student Affairs or external relations.
- Strong understanding of the strategic mission of Augusta University.
This position requires a strong ability to work effectively in a team environment and to communicate effectively with external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
