Job Summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a skilled Perinatal Education Instructor to join our team. As a nurse with advanced training and expertise in Maternal-Child Nursing, you will provide instruction to new and expectant parents on various perinatal health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver educational programs on perinatal health topics to new and expectant parents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for women of child-bearing ages.
  • Design and implement educational materials and resources to support patient education.
  • Conduct workshops, classes, and individual sessions to educate patients on perinatal health topics.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and registered in the State of Georgia.
  • Certified to perform CPR by either American Heart Association or Medic First Aid, or must become certified within probationary period.
  • Certified as an American Heart Association and/or Medic First Aid BLS instructor, or must become certified within probationary period if teaching CPR.
  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • International certification in childbirth education or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the use of audiovisual equipment.
  • Prior clinical and adult education experience.
Work Environment

8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend requirements may apply.
