Job Title: Financial Representative

Job Summary:

The Financial Representative is a key role at Western & Southern Life, responsible for meeting the financial needs of middle-income clients. This involves educating clients, analyzing their needs, and recommending tailored solutions in an ethical and client-focused manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Market Development: Identify target markets and develop effective marketing plans to reach middle-market clients.
  • Prospecting and Networking: Prospect and network for new clients, identifying qualified leads and making initial contacts.
  • Client Engagement: Contact and secure appointments with prospective and existing clients to discuss sales, conservation, and service opportunities.
  • Pre-Appointment Preparation: Adequately prepare for all appointments using established processes and consultative practices.
  • Sales and Marketing: Effectively sell insurance and investment solutions to clients, and plan for and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities.
  • Community Development: Develop community relationships to cultivate and strengthen the Western & Southern Life brand at the local level.
  • Client Maintenance: Maintain personal contact with clients to ensure their evolving financial needs are being met.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain client and company records, payments, and other relevant information.

  • Financial Analysis: Analyze client needs, understand financial products, and sell tailored solutions.

  • Networking: Be willing and able to network for new clients.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, internet, and email.
  • Certifications: Obtain and hold State Life and Health license prior to hire, and FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 within one year of employment.

Position Demands:

  • Automobile: Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
