Interior Designer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team at Raegan Ford Design, a rapidly growing national interior design firm dedicated to design excellence in architectural design and curation for high-end residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design intent and material selections for projects, working independently with guidance from the Principal Designer.
  • Prepare and produce high-quality design presentations that showcase the design intent and use of materials.
  • Use AutoCAD to create detailed working drawing sets of floor plans, elevations, and space planning.
  • Lead client installations and work closely with our operations team to create a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Monitor progress and attend job site reviews during construction.
  • Lead meetings and presentations with clients and industry partners.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, request quotes and estimates, and ensure quality standards.
  • Develop and manage client, builder, and architect relationships that foster trust and referrals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of interior design experience, with commercial/hospitality design experience a plus.
  • Advanced working knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  • Degree from an accredited interior design program.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Comfortable leading client presentations, both in person and via Zoom.
  • Advanced aesthetic and technical design capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, high follow-through, and deadline-driven.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
