- Process transactions using the store's point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store's interior and exterior.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, particularly in gas areas.
- Assist in the upkeep of the gas bay, pumps, and surrounding areas.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support store operations.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities.
- Proficient in sales techniques and customer service practices.
- In-depth knowledge of the products offered.
- Capability to anticipate and address customer needs effectively.
- Ability to operate or quickly learn the point-of-sale system.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in retail settings. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires prolonged periods of standing and walking. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform various physical activities, including bending, kneeling, and climbing.
