Responsibilities
Our West Coast Nuclear Services Group is on the lookout for a seasoned Engineering Site Lead / Project Manager to enhance the ENERCON team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, executing, and completing projects in accordance with the established schedule and budget
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules and management plans while overseeing project personnel to meet requirements
- Utilizing advanced scheduling tools, including earned value management and reporting processes
- Creating detailed project reports
- Monitoring project financials and providing regular updates to management regarding financial status and overall project performance
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, serving as the primary contact for assigned projects
- Managing client interactions and negotiating project scope to ensure satisfaction for both the client and the company
- Actively supporting marketing efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and following up
- Experience in Nuclear Design Engineering, including modification and implementation processes, calculations, and specifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the nuclear sector as an Engineer or Project Manager
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or PMP Certification with 10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in developing and reviewing contract and non-disclosure agreement language
- Ability to navigate budget and accounting processes
- Strong skills in coordination and team building
- Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation abilities
- Effective communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across disciplines and teams
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Capability to obtain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear facilities
- Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time, with travel duration varying based on project and client needs
- Occasional assignments at client sites lasting several months may be required
