Job Summary

The Certified Mobile Research Nurse is a per diem/PRN position for PCM Trials. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.
  • Perform phlebotomy, IV skills, and subcutaneous injections during mobile visits.
  • Collect vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and perform urine pregnancy tests.
  • Document medical history and medication charting accurately.
  • Develop and maintain excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing phlebotomy/peripheral blood draw, IVs, and subcutaneous injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred).
  • One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests.
  • Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice.
  • Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records.
  • Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have and maintain a current CPR certification.
  • Must have and maintain a current TB Test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed driver with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair.
  • An ability to speak other languages.

Compensation
