Frontline Service Manager

The Intake Specialist role at Workers Justice Project's Williamsburg Worker Center is a dynamic opportunity for an organized and customer-focused individual to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, managing the intake process, and ensuring seamless referrals to WJP services or external providers.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Intake Process: Conduct initial screenings and intakes for clients seeking services, gathering essential information to ensure accurate referrals and follow-up.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Maintain a monthly calendar for the center, scheduling appointments, and coordinating events with staff and external partners.
- Referral Services: Refer clients to appropriate WJP services or external providers, ensuring seamless transitions and effective support.
- Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, and community partners, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting mutual understanding.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is required, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, along with 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a non-profit or social services setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications, as well as equipment operation such as printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and telephones.
- Personal Qualities: Strong organizational and time management skills, dedication to working a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Compensation: The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $25.95-$30.03, commensurate with experience.
