We are in search of a Fund Accountant to become a vital part of our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

The role involves accounting and reporting for designated funds of funds, including but not limited to:

  • Documenting all accounting transactions and reconciling them with the investment database.
  • Generating quarterly financial statements.
  • Creating monthly roll-forward values and various specialized reports.
  • Preparing supporting work papers for the year-end audits of funds of funds.

Responsibilities also encompass managing assigned investment partnerships, which include:

  • Reviewing and interpreting quarterly financial statements of investment partnerships.
  • Analyzing activities within investment partnership accounts.
  • Identifying and assessing activities related to capital accounts for alternative investment vehicles utilized by investment partnerships.
  • Recording capital account details in the investment database.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Up to 3 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
  • Willingness to work overtime during peak quarterly cycles.
  • The starting salary range is between $75,000 - $85,000, accompanied by a comprehensive healthcare and employee benefits package.
