This is a seasoned professional role that requires in-depth disciplinary knowledge and expertise in financial planning and relationship management. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new techniques and improve processes and workflows for the area or function.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, build, and deepen relationships with affluent and high net worth clients to gain incremental wallet share.
- Anticipate complex financial needs of clients and offer solutions through a wide range of products, services, and tools.
- Provide regular value-added engagement with clients, including high-touch, face-to-face meetings and consistent communication.
- Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio and proactively source, acquire, and expand high-value customer relationships.
- Organize client events to enhance client bonding and acquire new clients through converting referral leads.
- Manage client follow-up and adhere to all regulatory and compliance operating procedures.
- Ensure that KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhered to.
- Partner with all roles on the branch team to ensure all clients have a positive in-branch experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in financial planning and relationship management.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using financial planning software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work without direction.
- US: Current Registration for FINRA series 6, 63, and 65 are required for the role.
- Insurance group 1 required; will give 120 days to obtain if not already held.
- This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
