Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ECMO Coordinator to join our team at SpecialtyCare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures, education of staff, and quality assurance for the ECMO program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy and Procedure Development
    • Develop and implement ECMO policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Education and Training
    • Ensure staff are trained on current ECMO standards of care and perfusion technology, and provide ongoing education to ensure competency.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Provide expert oversight for the clinical aspects of the program, ensuring proper standards of care have been implemented.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Supply Management
    • Maintain proper functioning of equipment and adequate amount of supplies to ensure seamless operation of the ECMO program.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, technicians, and administrators, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Prefer Bachelor of Science Degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Certifications
    • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of three years ECMO experience.
